Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

MiaoLab offers a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee for eligible consumer purchases made directly through the official MiaoLab online store.

You may request a return within 30 calendar days from the date your order is delivered.

You are welcome to open, inspect, and reasonably evaluate the product. A product does not need to be completely unused to qualify for a return.

However, the returned product must remain in a condition that does not materially affect its resale value.

• Be in reasonable resalable condition
• Have no significant damage, excessive wear, stains, odors, or deterioration caused after delivery
• Include all essential accessories and components originally supplied with the product
• Include the original packaging where reasonably possible
• Include promotional items or free gifts associated with the purchase, where applicable

Normal handling and reasonable evaluation will not automatically make a product ineligible for return.

If a product has been excessively used, damaged, altered, or returned with missing components in a way that materially reduces its value, MiaoLab may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value or reject a voluntary change-of-mind return where permitted by law.

EU and UK Customers

For customers who are entitled to statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights under applicable EU or UK consumer law, those statutory rights apply independently of MiaoLab's voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Where applicable, consumers may have the right to withdraw from or cancel an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory statutory withdrawal, cancellation, refund, or consumer guarantee rights.

Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is intended for normal individual consumer purchases.

The following may be excluded from the voluntary guarantee:

• Products purchased primarily for commercial or resale purposes
• Commercial or wholesale orders
• Products damaged through misuse, abuse, accidents, or improper handling
• Products materially modified or altered without authorization
• Products returned with significant damage or missing essential components
• Personalized or customized products, where applicable
• Products clearly identified as final sale or non-returnable before purchase, where permitted by law

An order will not automatically lose its consumer return rights simply because it contains 10 or more units.

Where a large order is reasonably determined to have been purchased for commercial, wholesale, or resale purposes, different commercial return terms may apply.

If you return an eligible product because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong product, or no longer wish to keep it:

• You are generally responsible for return shipping costs.
• Any responsibility for return shipping required under applicable consumer law will be disclosed before purchase.
• Original expedited delivery charges and optional premium shipping services are generally non-refundable.
• You are responsible for packaging the product appropriately for return.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Where return shipping is arranged independently by the customer, MiaoLab is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during the return shipment, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

EU Customers

Where an EU statutory right of withdrawal applies, the refund treatment of the original standard delivery charge will be handled in accordance with applicable EU consumer law.

Optional delivery upgrades or additional delivery costs above the least expensive standard delivery method offered by MiaoLab may not be refundable where permitted by law.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 14 days of delivery where reasonably possible.

This reporting request helps us investigate product and shipping issues quickly and does not limit any longer statutory consumer rights or warranty rights.

Please provide:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos and/or videos showing the problem
• Photos of the outer shipping packaging if the product was damaged during transit

We normally respond to return and product-issue requests within 2 business days.

Possible remedies may include:

• Troubleshooting
• Replacement components
• Repair
• Product replacement
• Partial refund
• Full refund

Where MiaoLab confirms that a return is required because the product was defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly supplied, MiaoLab will cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return shipping label where available.

Please provide your order number and a brief explanation of the return request.

We normally respond within 2 business days.

Once approved, we will provide:

• Return instructions
• The applicable return address
• Any necessary return reference information
• Shipping instructions where applicable

Please do not send your product to the address printed on the original shipping label unless MiaoLab specifically instructs you to do so.

Some MiaoLab products may contain batteries, heating components, electronic modules, or other components subject to special carrier or international shipping requirements.

Before returning such a product, please contact MiaoLab for return instructions.

Customers should not independently ship, dispose of, disassemble, puncture, or otherwise alter a battery or electronic component if MiaoLab has advised that special handling is required.

If a battery is damaged, swollen, leaking, overheating, or otherwise appears unsafe, stop using the product and contact MiaoLab before attempting to return it.

If your purchase includes a bundle, free gift, promotional product, or "Buy One Get One" offer, associated promotional products should also be returned where applicable.

If a free or promotional item is not returned, MiaoLab may, where permitted by law, deduct its stated retail value from the refund.

For partial returns of bundled products, please contact MiaoLab first so we can confirm the applicable refund amount.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund status.

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 3–5 business days after inspection and approval.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase whenever reasonably possible and unless otherwise required by applicable law.

• Credit or debit card payments will generally be refunded to the same card or account.
• PayPal payments will generally be refunded through PayPal.
• Crowdfunding or third-party platform refunds may be subject to that platform's refund system and rules.

Your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Kickstarter, or other payment provider may require additional time before the refund appears in your account.

MiaoLab products are covered against manufacturing defects and qualifying functional failures under normal intended use.

The specific commercial warranty period varies by product, version, certification, and market. Please refer to the warranty period stated in the product manual, warranty documentation, or other documentation supplied with your product.

Warranty coverage generally includes

• Manufacturing defects
• Qualifying electrical or functional failures under normal intended use
• Other defects specifically covered by the applicable product warranty

Warranty coverage generally does not include

• Accidental damage
• Misuse, abuse, or improper handling
• Unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair
• Damage caused by incompatible accessories or power supplies
• Damage caused by improper electrical conditions
• Failure to follow product instructions
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic deterioration resulting from normal use

Statutory Consumer Guarantees

The commercial warranty provided by MiaoLab is in addition to, and does not replace, mandatory consumer rights.

For consumers purchasing goods covered by EU consumer law, a minimum two-year legal guarantee may apply to goods that are faulty or do not conform to the contract, subject to applicable national law.

The voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee described in this policy applies to eligible purchases made directly through the official MiaoLab online store unless we expressly state otherwise.

Products purchased through pre-order campaigns, Kickstarter, or other crowdfunding or third-party platforms may be subject to additional platform-specific or campaign-specific payment, cancellation, refund, and fulfillment terms.

Where a refund is approved for a purchase made through a third-party platform, it may need to be processed through that platform's payment or refund system.

Platform-specific or campaign-specific terms do not exclude or limit consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

This policy provides voluntary benefits offered by MiaoLab, including our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee, in addition to any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

We will make reasonable efforts to review and resolve the matter directly before further escalation.

Nothing in this section prevents you from using any complaint, consumer protection, alternative dispute resolution, payment-provider dispute, or legal process available under applicable law.
